Section 1:
Overview

This is  a preliminary list of practical tools and further readings that can help support your program's AI journey. These resources supplement this field guide and deepen your understanding of responsible AI practices across technical and ethical domains.

The practical tools section features open-source models, toolkits, and funding opportunities that could help kickstart or accelerate the development and deployment of the AI use cases mentioned in the field guide.

These were selected based on each being: open-access, clearly linked to health or medical applications, proven to be used in such applications, and showing they directly support or can be linked to AI capabilities. This is a non-exhaustive sample based on publicly available information. The list is not an endorsement of these organizations or solutions and is for reference only. Organizations should make their own decisions on what tools meet their needs.

The further readings section offers timely guidance and thought leadership from global organizations on how to design, govern, and scale AI in a way that is human-centered, safe, and trustworthy.
